Niima is San Diego's first multi-family dwelling constructed from mass-laminated timber, blending modern luxuries with energy-efficient features to lower its carbon footprint. Built using cross-laminated timber (CLT), this project impacts local economies by boosting demand for regional forestry products and reducing environmental impacts associated with concrete and steel. Its design allows for more residential units, promoting density without sacrificing aesthetics or safety. We created a website to give their marketing team more traction in leasing the units and spreading awareness. The design incorporates elements like wood grain patterns and large open imagery that emulates expansive windows. There is a strong emphasis on loading speed and optimized web delivery systems to reduce the carbon impact of the website.
